I'm still amazed that there are so many clean, low mileage pre-X Evo's out there. Just had a customer come in today on an 40k mile Evo 8 for service with just bolt-ons, and another with a bone-stock Evo 8 with 71k miles

congratz on the pickup!

Congrats on the purchase! What had you done to the 350? Any more pics?

What are your first impressions of the EVO?

Carpet dash cover, lol. The first time I ever saw one was when I visited Arizona. Awesome purchase.

the z was fairly stock. but here is what little i had done.

2003 350z enthusiast
pikes peak pearl white

pro mods: fujita ram air intake, samco coolant hoses, mishimoto low temp thermostat, nismo short/long shifter, personally made ground wire kit, rotor pro rotors, stillen ceramic pads
wheels/tires: 5zigen pro racer gn+ 17x8.5 & 17x9.5, hankook tires
exterior: s2000 shorty antenna
interior/sound: evo-r burnt titanium shift knob, kenwood ddx 6019 in dash dvd, zenclosure understrut sub box, rockford fosgate (2) 10' r1 subs, esx signum series se2-150 550w amp, stinger audio cable

going from 3.5l V6 to a 4 cyl. it wasnt pretty.

interior sucks, seat suck, transmissions feels week, clutch is way to deep, brakes feel about the same just the pedal is super stiff, takes forever to get to power, exhaust note is unheard, boost feels good,
but my first impressions where: "wtf" "why am i doing this" "Im going back and getting my Z back"
Getting power is so much easier and cheaper than in the Z.
overall im pretty happy with my trade.

and im not totally new to this world. i had a
95 eagle talon TSI AWD (left stock till HG blew)
98 eclipse GS (to boring)
95 dodge stealth non-turbo (boring)
