hey, I picked up a 03 GSR a few days ago, im the 3rd owner. Its 100% stock. I'm new to the evo platform. I have been into dsm's for about 6 years and have built plenty of them. Figured i would try something new so here she is..





It has 87k on it so im going to change the t belt first and swap out the tranny and t-case with some redline. Then its going to get a carbon hood, trunk and rear defuser. Then a little later its getting carbon lips and then I will start adding power.

IT came with this t-belt kit but im unaware of the quality so im asking you guys if you would use this kit or get a gates belt with OEM bearings.?


Any pointers or anything to look for would be good. Like i said im a newb to these.

 

congrats on the new ride...looks sweet....personally i would go with oem or gates...not sure of that belt kit u have....just did my 60k service with oem belt kit
