I have seen that one on Craigslist. I am from the same area, more NE near Bothell. This one looks pretty clean (from pics at least), not a huge fan of the yellow tint on headlights. Have you seen it/test driven yet? WW Evos are not too easy to come by.

It looks clean and the price is good, but remember that the current owner is probably selling it for a reason too. You don't put that much money and care into a car just to sell it for 1/4 of what you've paid. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Welcome to the forums.

The seller said that the yellow is a film so it should be pretty easy to remove. I really hope your not as interested in the car as I am.

And I haven't driven it yet. I'm still trying to convince my dad to get it.

Honestly, that engine bay looks kind of rough!

Haha, no I am not as interested in this one. I like that it is SSL and WW color but I want to start from a platform that is more near stock. I kinda got burned on my GSX because the last owner modded it out and didn't do it right so I ended up rebuilding the turbo system. I want to avoid those problems this go round. Don't get me wrong though, there are lots of people who mod with care and do it right. I just want to begin from stock so I know everything that has gone into the car.

Welcome to the forum man!!

Does he have documents to prove that all the work listed is really what has been done to the car? A lot of those mods are internal and you have now way of finding out unless you tear it apart or he has papers to prove it

Good luck with whatever you do

Thanks for all your replies. Ill ask the guy if he has any paperwork for the mods, it sounds like a reasonable request.

I say test drive it first and physically see the car for yourself then decide. For that price that sounds like a good deal to me @ 51k miles. Good luck!

The exterior looks nice, but the engine bay looks as if there were a lot of things done half-assed.

Looks like a good value if everything checks out. Title clean?

Good luck!

eh, I can tell you now why the engine bay looks half-assed. You can see that he put in the parts to build the engine for a bigger turbo. I guarantee he took all the other mods off (exhaust, intake, IC piping, maybe even bigger turbo) and slapped on all his stock parts that have probably been sitting in the closet.

So either A. the car was built up, but had issues so he sold off all the 'easy stuff' to remove,

or B. Maybe he got tired of it, and returned it as stock as he could without major work.

either way, I bet there was more to the car before.
