Here are a few concerns.

*The Megan manifold will crack. Mine lasted a few months and I went back to a OEM ported with no change in power.

*Was the car tuned?

*OBX bov? really? I'd switch back to the stock DV

*Tein springs I've heard are not that great for evo's. Thats just what I hear anyways.

*IC, I would guess was another Ebay item. But whatever if it works it works.

Seems like the guy spent a lot of time buying stuff of Ebay. I'm just talking from my previous experience. I purchased my car from a guy that seemed to have it all figured out and in the end, I realized my car was practically built by eBay. I spent the last 6 months replacing broken parts. Very frustrating and the wife wasn't happy much either.

Although the price seems right. Just asked for the old manifold and send it off to be ported and swap it out

I'm thinking he used it to race with those mods and only putting 500 miles on it.

I'm not sure I would want to buy a car that hasn't been driven in 6 months.

There is no truth to this statement by your friend and please don't use it as a rationale in your search for your Evo. He might as well have said "I heard that Subaru guys are more likely to commit felonies so only look for Evos dude".

Good luck finding your car!
