Brake Help!
Alright, I've been on the community for a few months now and I decided to upgrade my brakes.
First, I have a 2003 Evo GSR. Upgraded to a Vibrant turbo back exhaust, Evo 9 MR BOV, and a Perrin intake system. I was riding on what I thought was stock rotors and pads, but they started to squeal when I braked. If I braked hard, it wouldn't make a sound, but if I gently apply pressure, it would start to squeal. So I decided to upgrade my brake system.
A few weeks ago I purchase DBA 4000 slotted front and rear rotors with Ferodo DS2500 front and rear pads all new in the box. Once installed, the fronts started to squeal, is this normal? How can I make them not squeal. My mechanic told me he even tried to use BG stop squeal with no success. How can I make my brakes not squeal? Should I try to replace the pads first? I really doubt it's the rotors.
Please help as the sound is killing me now!!!

If your brakes don't squeal, they aren't working!
If you want no noise, go back to stock pads.
On light application harder brakes will have a tendency to squeal, just hit the pedal harder.
I have done some different brake pads for customers and what tends to happen is that the better bite a pad has leads to more noise.
One guy went to softer(quieter pads), then came back the next day saying he couldn't stop like he used to.
