i have a 2006 Evo 9 SE and have a weird clicking noise problem.

whenever i drive softly it doesn't make it, but if i gas a bit harder, from like 1500- 3500 rpm it'll make a ticking noise? sounds like its coming from around my feet more towards the drivers side

anyone have any ideas what this is? or anyone else have this problem.

i had a boost gauge installed by own owner but he took it out and capped line.
