Check out the RRM site. It seems to work fine. I just checked.

Don't buy RMR Ebay exhaust either.

Cool Lancer Exhaust

as to you question about exhaust for your lancer, I just got a custom cat-back system done for me, and it gave me 13 horse..I had it checked on a dyno. I was just going to put a muffler on it, but I needed to bend the axel pipe to put on a round muffler. I know this really isn't a place most people get exhaust done for Imports, but Meineke custom made mine for me for only $360. It sound great, looks great, and runs great. I've gotten a total of 23 horse with just that exhaust, and RMR's Cold air intake..........and to all of you who don't beleve me........it was on a DYNO!!!!

Mandrel bent piping is fashioned in such a way it keeps its internal diameter the same regardless of bending. Just bending a pipe without this method ends up creating bottlenecks in the exhaust. Hence, mandrel bent is the best since you lose no internal diameter.

If you want a little sound and looks get the muffler and have it welded onto the back of the piping that already exists on the car. If you want a little performance to go along with it, then consider buying a full cat-back or having some exhaust place custom make one for you. Neither is going to make your car a rocket, it will simply improve looks and sound. It is only with large horsepower cars that cat back exhuasts start making noticeable horsepower.

My advice is go with the good deal on the muffler, get it welded onto your current piping for minimum price (since you said you were in college) Nobody will know you dont have a cat-back unless they commando crawl under your car, and who cares anyway. Unless at some point you are planning on going big turbo set-up, this is the way to go on a budget. Get the muffler, it's a good deal. And I agree, no silencer.

I actually got that muffler, Just had it installed yesterday and I love it. Everyones right when they say it wont make it faster but it sure will make people think twice.

Just a friendly tip about mufflers, when it comes to mufflers, don't go for size! Think of it this way, put a paper in front of your mouth, and open your mouth about an inch, then blow out as hard as you can. The paper goes back right? Now do the same thing but this time open your mouth about 3-4 inches. Now blow, results, the paper didn't bend back as much as last time. That's the same thing that happens when it comes to exhausts. The smaller the tip, the more air pressure is released. Aside from sound, large mufflers decrease performance, and I speak from experience! Just thought I'd share this friendly piece of advice.

i really like the look of that blueish titanium tip, but im not a fan of Revolution...i think they make like a buzzing noise. I know other companies make that same "glazed" tip on titanium mufflers, but they might be expensive. i'll see if i can find a link.

i like this one

or this one is pretty hot too

Pictured muffler is very Buzzy. If you like it, go for it. Don't go more than 2 1/4 inch pipe either. Make sure you fit it close but not too close because it will melt the bumper too!
