SoCal Ralliart Wagon Facelift!
Just posting up to show off the new paint and wheels on this 2004 2.4L Ralliart Sportback.
Sticking with the orignal color, I decided to highlight the bottom trim of the body kit with satin black and the side mirrors as well. 16X7, white spoked Drag Wheels were added to finish the job by Impala's Body and Paint of San Diego.

This is better here

A bit off topic, but it dumped rain pretty good here the last few days and flooded a few surface streets in the process. I was driving home the other night when I ran through a "pond" that I didn't see and my entire vehicle went under water! It killed my engine initially, but restarted simultaneously as I rolled through it. When I tried to accelerate I figured I had water in my intake and couldnt do more than idle the last 1/2 mile home.
It isn't over...
When I woke up the next morning, after I performed a quick check of the intake, which appeared dry, amidst the bits of debris that were hanging everywhere, it started right up with a nice idle. I drove it over to the local convenient store to get coffee, As I exited the store the front of my Sportback came into view and I realized that the front OEM lip was missing! Realizing I was right next to the street where I submerged the previous night, I walked out to the street where I found one half of the lip on one side of the street, and the other on the opposite side. I'm also now hearing, what appears to be an air leak/hissing, with the odor of antifreezein the air. I'll keep you posted as to what I find, and what new lip I end up getting. Any suggestions are welcome. We can take this to a different topic as well.

An Evo AWD wagon MT was produced but not the non evo wagon, only a fwd AT for one year, here in the states, in 2004. A Ralliart version was also available which is what is depicted here.
There was an AWD 1.8 turbo MT wagon from 1994 - 1998 called a libero gt, parts (including engine and trans) were interchangeable with EVO 1,2,3s. There were lower models, I'm not sure if any made it stateside or to Canada (could've been badged lancer wagon).

"In addition to the facelift, North America received two additional models to the Lancer line in 2004 –Sportback and Ralliart. The latter slated in between the base and high-performance Evolution model. Both the Sportback and Ralliart had high levels of equipment, based on the Australian Lancer VR-X. The main difference being that these cars came equipped with Mitsubishi's 2.4L 4G69 engine (rated at 160 hp (119 kW)/162 lb·ft (220 N·m) for the Sportback, and 162 hp (121 kW)/162 lb·ft (220 N·m) for the Ralliart), included a new, stiffer suspension package that improved handling and lowered the cars stance by 1 centimeter, 16" alloy wheels, front bucket seats borrowed from Japan's Mitsubishi Evolution GT-A, fog lamps, and a new aerodynamic ground package. The Ralliart also came equipped with a cosmetic rear deck spoiler, and clear rear tail lights. The Sportback was equipped with a 4-speed INVECS-II automatic transmission, with no option for a manual transmission, while the Ralliart came with a 5-speed manual transmission with an option for the 4-speed automatic. The Sportback was also available in the lower spec LS trim.
Mitsubishi Lancer LS wagon (US)Due to [citation needed] Mitsubishi's deteriorating financial situation and slow sales, the Lancer Sportback wagon was cancelled in the United States one year after its release. But the Mitsubishi Lancer wagon was sold in Canada, Japan, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and was available in at least the latter two until 2009."
*Note the LS is without the ground effects that is included in the Ralliart package.
