Hi there ! Was Googling alot of things about Evo 4's and Evo 8's and this site can up a number of times. Decided it would be wise to join, so here I am.

I'm Dave from Dublin in Ireland, 21 and I am driving(well have) an Evo 4 . Only have it a few weeks. Have driven The Mirage Cyborg ZR (Mivec 99 facelift) I converted it over to GSR running gear. Sold that on then got myself a 99 Lancer GSR then sold that an got myself a 96 Lancer Evolution. I'm looking to put a Evo 8 engine into it at the moment.

An interesting note. They didn't get any lancer gsr in USA, only evolution gsr. The gsr running gear you used, was that the 4g93t 1.8 turbo?

 

Yeah, 4G93T . It's an ok engine you can't do anything major to it. It works better in the hatch cars than in a saloon.

Added some various pictures the White Evo 4 is the one I have now..

damn, I love that year .... one of my first cars in the original Gran Turismo on PS1

 

The 4g93t is a fantastic engine, I'd prefer that to an ej20. We see them doing over 300whp in NZ.
