Well you can obviously start new threads in other places, my account got messed up and I couldn't get an admin to reply. I read in one of the other sections, I think it was dated 2004, the the posting requirement for WTB/WTS was 50, they were complaining about newbies selling bogus parts.

I have copied the relevant info and pasted here

"All new members need to be aware of the For Sale policy and not enter into any transactions to which they cannot post in the For Sale thread. The For Sale forum rules are in place to curb scamming and help avoid people with no standing in the community from perpetrating a scam. The ability to use the For Sale forum is a privilege not a right. The rules for posting in the For Sale section have been adjusted to a minimum of 50 posts and being a member for at least 30 days. All members are reminded to check a sellers personal rating before entering into a transaction and to leave feedback after a transaction."

This is from the: Announcement Thread in Private "Evo 1-9" For Sale /Wanted: Updated Forum Rules, by WestSideBilly

Evo2005 is right!

see this link and look at line 6. a. :The Marketplace section of the forum is for contributing members of the site. In order to post in the Marketplace you must have at least 15 on-topic posts and have been a member for 15 days. Post whoring to meet selling requirements is not permitted.

Good luck in getting an admin response

thanks guys i always seen the box above the thread that says 15 and 15 but np. i see the point of being a member for awhile and having the the 50 post to keep scammers away.but it kinda makes people post a bunch of stupid pointless post to rack up there numbers. just my 2 cents but np thanks
