I am looking to buy a Lancer Evolution IX, in either: Rally Red, Tarmac Black, or Wicked White. I am looking for a 5spd. so MR and SE are out of the question.
Does anyone know where I should begin looking, or if there are any up for sale here on EVOM?

 

The non MR regular SE's are 5 speed, but they only come in Tarmac Black, Apex Silver, and Graphite Grey. So if you want Rally Red or Wicked White, then your only option is the GSR.

Thank you, I was looking around the links and I finally found the cars for sale. I'm just so disappointed because I am looking for something as close to stock as possible. I don't want it running lean and I want to know what exactly has been done to the car. I think this search is going to take a awhile. Haha.

 

Good luck man. I looked for a ix in my area for many months. I ended up just going to the dealership for a brand new X. Still have the desire for the ix though

 

Yeah, that's what it's looking like but I'm alright with taking a plane pretty much anywhere in the country and driving it back home. As long as I'm not looking at far up in the Northern states.

 

Took me 2 years of on/off searching, but I finally found a never-modified example (save for lowering springs, which I couldn't care less about). It's a five hour drive there and back to get it, but I'm cool with that Be patient and don't compromise, you'll find one.

Im in Texas and I only found some in like cali, Florida, and ny. But I was only patient for about 4 months

 

I'm looking around because I'll be buying around November and I havent found any that I like in my state...hopefully some pop up but if not it looks like im going to keep searching...i really dont want to settle for something just because its close and available...good luck with your search bro...plenty of people on these boards seem like they have waited A LONG time just to find exactly what they want...
