the rear brace is exposed in the middle, did this come like this from the factory? i mean not the brace as you stated that its OEM but rather the plastic panels getting cut to expose them?

Thats a good question. The brace is a accessory. Not a option. So you need to order from the parts dept (mitsubishi dealership for the install) if you go on the Mitsubishi website. Go to built evo x mr. Then go to accessories. It will be there. As for the panel if you look close. It is not cut but sewn with stitching . I think the kit comes with the proper panels. Or the other way. They are there (panel w/stitching) and need the be implemented.

Thanks ! I might. But first I need to convince my wife that it wasn't my car that broke her back when I ran over that pot-hole. Seriously. I doubt it. Being this is my "Daily Driver".

Just wanted to know if you or the dealership or an outside company trimmed those black panels for you to make expose the rear strut brace.

From recollection I have seen people install the OEM rear strut brace but have never seen one where all the plastic panels are put back in

Ha guys, Stop CBRD to drop off all my mods for the tune at the end of the month. And Chad showed me my Exhaust manifold. What beauty. I snagged the photo off the web site. but it's the samething.

Good investment, congrats. I'd leave my car stock for a while.

Very cool dude...I own an MR as well...will hopefully start modding fairly soon...after I get the basic supporting mods done I would really like looking into the BBX Lite from CBRD, they seem like a really great company to deal with...
