2 Early Evo's in Canada

Hey guys, I'm from Canada. This spring and summer I picked up two Evo 1's that were in accidents. They both have salvageable titles so I should be able to fix both up to roadworthy condition!
One is a 92 RS and the other is a 93 GSR. Both engines run and everything is smooth (when all the parts are together). So it's mostly going to be fixing the body that was damaged in the accidents and replacing parts that need to be replaced.
One night after working for the evening on one... i noticed it was a bit of a picture worthy situation. No, not perfect... but I wanted to share

So here is the GSR.

and here is the Damage on the GSR.

Let me know if you want to see a photo of just how the car got filled with snow...
The parts car! This is a front wheel drive colt. left hand drive. This was my second purchase. In order to fix the back on the GSR. However it has proven equally useful for fixing the RS... which was purchased one week after the Colt.

Here is the RS!

and a slightly better look at the damage

and where I am currently at.

What does everyone think? Any questions?
Ps.
My name is Mitch. I am 20 years old. I like cars, and photography. Not that any of these photos are nice at all. Haha.

Ok so the rad support is welded on and I'm currently fitting the fenders/hood that will be on the car for now. I have a new intercooler and piping and ac parts and intake piping which should be here tomorrow that I will be installing tomorrow along with everything else necessary to get it running again..

Today I am also changing fluids and finishing putting the interior back together... I'll show a shot of the interior once that is done too..

What does everyone think of the color scheme! haha

Ok so my friend came over and we were going to go for a quick drive since...
Everything is put back together!

However it was a very windy day... and I hadn't yet installed the hood latch. Oh whatever, just going for a quick drive on our land anyways... nothing bad could happen... my friend was in a hurry.
Soon as we turned to face the wind, boom. The hood flew up and smashed into the windshield.

So. Minor, major, setback. I have an appointment to bring it in for a safety. On Monday. Wish me luck to get this back in working order... haha.

Hopefully going to swap the glass tomorrow evening after work. We will have to pull the glass out of the colt and do our best to make sure it doesn't shatter. It's 165 dollars for a new windshield but that's all the way from Ohio and will apparently take two weeks to get here. The hood doesn't quite shut right at the moment... I swapped the hinges as they were broken in the incident, however it still needs some more tweaking... Hopefully this will be sorted as soon as possible too.
I feel so silly... one of those life lessons. You just do things without thinking... in too much a rush.

The current color scheme reminds me of the harlequin VW's. If you need anything, shoot me a PM or ask us here: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/producthelp.php

We have relationships with many of the JDM parts companies, so even if it's not on our website, don't be afraid to ask. If you call or PM, you'll be eligible for your EvoM discount

Waiting on new windshield. Had to replace a turbo exhaust inlet gasket (the one between the manifold and the turbo). However it turned out it was actually leaking because the last owner had neglected to put the washers on the bolts, so the bolts were bottoming out before it could even tighten down..
Also replaced the o-rings on all the injectors and it is running much smoother now.
Having a problem with the brake lights not working at all. Not sure what's going on there... bad ground maybe.

Waiting on a windshield... trying all sources to find someone who will order one for me but it seems impossible... dealership quoted me $550 for just the glass... thought that was a little steep.... car's running great. Waiting on a JOE P manual boost controller and a synapse synchronic diverter valve.

Car is running amazing. Any recommendations for plug wires? Or somewhere local to purchase good quality ones?
