I've beaten a ton of Evo's around here. Most people just buy them and think they are fast off the production line.

I LOVE my Speed 3. It's 100% stock now though and I'm hoping to sell it in the coming months to get an Evo VIII

 

Waiting to hear back from a dealership about trading in the Speed 3 for a 2005 Electric Blue Evo VIII! fingers are crossed trying to get a loan through them and since it's labor day I have to wait til tomorrow! I'm trying not to get my hopes up cause I don't have a ton of credit that's the downfall but he said it shouldnt be a problem!

Even if I don't get it, and I'll be super bummed if I dont it's a nice ride, I'll have a couple more grand at the end of the month selling my big turbo and some other misc car parts plus paychecks so hopefully itll work out either way. Havent had a ton of serious offers on the Speed 3 and I'm super surprised it's an amazing car for the money!

 

yea make the switch, the ms3 is a fail boat. i went from a 06 sti to a 07 ms3 and everytime i drove the car i was just waiting for it to throw a rod. they needs a bigger turbo on the car instead of that P.O.S. K04 ment for a 1.8L audi not a 2.3L making to much tq to quick. Dropped the speed for the right evo 9 once i found it and i'll never look back. I like the evo better then the sti and ms3. you'll enjoy it

 

Still no EVO? I traded my Speed3 in a couple weeks back for an EVO, talk about a lucky find! Didn't have time to demod though.

Wrong, Electric Blue was an 05 production color. Blue By You stopped in 04. Good luck

 

I won't get to much into it but there's 100+ people making over 400whp on stock block, clutch and tranny. The motor is very strong just bad tunes in the past causing blow ups. But yea AWD > fwd and the Evo is def much better then a M3. Also agreed on the turbo it needs a GT2871 or something similar stock

I've been saving money waiting for my car to sell. Had a ton of interest just no solid offers its pretty annoying.

You won't ever look back once you go to the Evo. I had a turbo Mazda RX-8 making 320 rwhp before swapping to the Mitsu brand. Welcome to the club.

 

This is completely incorrect.

I have an EB IX, and I parked next to an 05 EB VIII a few months back at one of our local meets. BBY was 03, 04. EB was 05, 06. However, 05 EB is the most rare of the blues I believe.

BTW, My brother has an 09 MS3 he bought brand new, For a stock factory car that thing is very fast, also nice and comfortable car to drive and other then the fact that it gets sh&tty gas mileage and the obvious that its fwd its a very cool car.

Yes sir picked up an Evo Wednesday night! Some of the mods in the sig I LOVE it!!!!:-) Evo has been a dream car since I could drive so I love having it. Gotten so many compliments and people just crowd around and ask a lot of questions and are jealous it's awesome lmao. Evo > Mazdaspeed 3 that's obvious even more so now that I have an Evo. Getting professional pics next week sometime hopefully probably wait a little while gotta tint my front windows and dewing the car also waiting for the vortex generator I ordered from rexspeed since it's got all the power I need for now
