Timescale is unknown, once I've made the decision to bite the bullet and go ahead with a specific dial set, the manufacturer would need to do the tooling, produce the dials and get them set off.

I think your looking at at least a month from now - just out of curiosity, does no one else in the USA produce these type of dials for Lancers ? I would of thought somebody had spotted the market by now...

I'll keep you guys up to speed, keep posting your interest !

As far as I'm aware, you'd be the first. Interesting niche to hold, no?

swapping

Is it possible to change out the (IMO) ugly red lights on the white gauges? Anybody try blue? Is it as easy as swapping some small bulbs?

If anybody has done it pics would be cool...

I intend to do that at some point. White replacements with blue covers or a blue film on either the bulb or the insides of the guages would work just fine if they're assembled the way I think they are. I'll find out sooner or later. I freakin' hate red.

ummmm...shouldn't they look purple?

red+blue=...green?????

even purple would beat red...by the way, how hard was it to get to the bulbs, and while you're at it, how many bulbs are there? How long did it take you to get to them....

thanks liquid

I'm sure you could do an indiglow LED swap or something and get it that soft green/blue. Prolly not the easiest thing, but It's probably possible. It's just your Odo anyway, isn't it? Cover it with construction paper!

I realize the Evo VII has the same gauges as the OZ Lancer here in the States but instead of boost gauge it's simply just a blank pod that says "LANCER", a tachometer (rev counter) that redlines at 6k and ends at 8k, plus, a speedometer that goes up to 130, with the numerical markings stopping at 120 mph.

Here's a handy pic (Thanks Pat):

Actuallyyyyy. I believe the Evolution Guage pack is only different in that it says Evolution whereas ours Says Lancer and it has the AYC options on the Tachometer.
