why is everyone hating on red ...i personally like the red...is red one of the colors to choose from mr. the Gecko?..i already went through the trouble of changing all the lights inside to red i figure i would like to have the indiglo but in red...either way i'll buy them....wouldn't hurt to try them out...i could always sell them later..

 

I just don't like red. I think it's an ugly color. I dunno why you're taking it to heart. It's just a color.

EDIT: More people prefer red from what I can tell, but since it's stock they don't need to change so much as add on.

 

i was being sarcastic...i know it's just a color and everyone is entitiled to their preference.... i think your right about it being easier to add on though...

 

i just wanna change mine to purple cuz my scheme is purple and white...my sorority's colors hahahah ..after all...your car SHOUUUULD reflect your personality right?!?! o yea..im all about my sorority lolz

 

Wish I could get these for the ES...but I doubt that will happen, since the gauges aren't in pods. *sigh* pwned again.

 

red is supposed to be the most soothing color to your eyes.

Well, to get technical, red's the longest visible wavelength so it doesn't cause your pupils to freak out as much as other colors. This makes it so your eyes don't have to adjust to the outside again.

 

Yeah, someone mentioned that once before and made me think twice about going blue. I'll still do it eventually though. Hello, eye strain. Pleasure to meet you.

 

es and ls a blue/green color to the gagues, but they arent in pods like the oz....I guess therefor it would be impossible to change to indiglo, unless I were to replace the whole display...

 

thats true the es anmd ls bulbs are like blue maybe ill juts get the bulbs and replace mine wiht them
i still want the indiglo though

 

I want the red gone. Went to two dealers and was told they did not have bulb part number listing for the lancers yet. I'm waiting for more info. Seems someone could just put blue/green bulbs in place of red for the dash. If the led stays red I could live with that. I can't stand the red glow around the needles. I have the dash lights turned way down at this point. Anyone with ideas please let me know. Thx.
