whats up, I've been shopping around for used X's and I can decide what to do. In the process of selling my 20th anniversary gti so im definitely stepping my game up. I feel a little silly with my wants and buying a new car because im still in my 20's but i feel like im getting older faster then normal lol but i plan on spending around 28k so i guess i should be a little picky. im kinda upset that i haven't seen an X with heated seats yet but i see a bunch with the blank buttons in the center console, also i thought it was kinda weird that the left side of the steering wheel has the traction control switch and not radio volume. my buddie has an evo 8 and i don't see the need to be able to change your traction control settings on the fly, you know if your gonna be at the track you can switch or if you off road but not a moments notice. The only other thing i want is a stock nav set up but that could be added at anytime. Now the biggest decision of all is wicked white or Octane blue. leaning towards OBP thanks for your time and i'm looking forward to your input

Heated seats are available on the 2010 X MR Touring and X SE, 2011 X GSR SS+SL and X MR Touring. Steering wheel radio controls are standard on all 2010+ X's, but can be easily retrofitted on the 2008's. It's going to be tough to find a nice 2010+ for $28k though so you're probably best off finding a 2008 and adding what you want yourself as you can afford it.

 

yeah ur right i just found a diy thread on adding the steering wheel radio controls and blue tooth. its pretty cool that there all wired the same so added something that didn't come on a certain model isnt the end of the world. also read that someone got the dealer to add heated seats for $500 thats not too bad if u ask me.

 

Probably a dumb question but where did you see that thread cuz I wanna add radio controls and blue tooth to my '08?
