Ok so who has just gotten a ticket for something dumb just because a cop wanted to write one? What was it for?

Mine was for: Improper start from a stopped position. My dad was with me and laughed his *** off the whole way home. Don't even know what I did.

 

lol.. thats kinda dumb reason for ticket.. mine was too wide of a left turn, im sure im not the only one tho..

 

A girl I used to work with got a ticket for like 28 in a 25...I laughed and figured it would probably get dropped but nope she had to pay the ticket.

 

What code/statute did he cite on the ticket?

 

I had to pay a "failure to yeild" ticket.
Guess I got off easy since I didn't "yeild" to about a dozen of flashing blue lights.

 

got pulled over for staying at the stop sign longer then 5 sec lol.. (i was on evom reading) .. his excuse was backing up traffic lol

"Improper start from a stopped position" sounds like something they would use if you did a burn out or something obnoxious like that.

 

I got pulled over in the parking lot of the police station in my beater for failed inspection. I was on my way to court to pay for a ticket for not having the car inspected.

I hear a knock on my drivers side window. I'm sitting in my 1994 Escort (BEAT) wearing a really nice 3 piece suit, and I look in my mirror and theres a cop car behind me with the cherries going. I say, yes officer... he says, do you know why I pulled you over? I say... I didn't know I was pulled over? He says inspection. I said I'm on my way into court right now to pay the inspection ticket.

blah blah blah... he writes me another ticket. It was hilarious.

 

ya i was like um no.. haha judge just laughed and said atleast you are following the law and making a full stop..

 

View obstruction for my stock wing. I told him it comeswith the car he said I dont want to hear it. I told him thankyou and while you gave me a ticket someone across town names sally is getting raped you let him get away to write me a ticket and then I left.

my stupidest ticket was a random pull over (bar area of town)

gave me a ticket for expired insurance ..he said "sorry I thought that it expired 2 years ago..didn't realize I was wrong until after I wrote the ticket"
funny thing is this happened in 2008 and I had a brand new 2008 car with no plates yet.

so he thought my insurance on a brand new 08 car expired in 06

 

I got a ticket for going 35 in a 30 and on the ticket those exact speeds were written but the best part is i was behind 2 school buses that were pulling away from me

 

Got stopped for having my bright lights on going past a cop. And he asked if I knew why he pulled me over. I love when they ask that question because I start naming off the most random stuff I can think of. He tried getting me for wreckless endangerment beccause my high beams were blinding him. Im pretty sure they were with hids and the foglight mod to where I can have the foglights on with my brights so all three bulbs were burning bright.

 

i got a window tint ticket 2 weeks before the law got changed to lower the legal tint %. My tint is no longer illegal.
