Whats everyone, I am new to the Evo Scene. I just recently bought a 2010 Evo MR with 30K miles and I am looking to do some Mods and looking for a Shop in the Wash. DC area. Not quite sure where to start on this baby!!! I know it is pretty good the way it sits at Stock. But I would like to get it to be above the 400HP range. Thanks for any help you can give!! Phil

Make sure the 30k service was done. Then enjoy it stock for a bit and read up on parts, upgrade paths, and local shop reputations. Once you are sure of the parts you want and the shop you want doing the work, do it all at once. This will save you on overall down time and labor costs. Enjoy

P.S. If I lived in Maryland I would likely have my work/tuning done at http://jacksonautomachine.com/ check em out.

Thanks
Cool, Thanks for the info. I will check it out to see if it was sone or not. I quess my main question is still, Should I look into still changing the Exhaust, intake, header, New ECU, turbo piping etc. Or is some of the stock stuff good enough to handle the 400+ I am looking to get?

Opinions are going to vary, but I would say E85, intake, exhaust, intercooler, and cams is the cheapest (and best) way to get to 400whp. If E85 is not an option where you live, then you will likely have to go to a slightly larger turbo to get to 400whp. BBK, FPGreen/Red, Garret GTX3071, or HKS GTII are all proven options.

Also think about reliability, so headstuds, rods, pistons, sleaving your block, are all worth considering.

Best advice really though is find an experienced shop, tell them your goals, do what they suggest.

Thanks again
Thanks for all of the advise!! I will call that one shop today and see what they have to say about my goals. I am just really excited about this car, Its fun as hell to drive now. I can only imagine how it will be with 400+whp.. I used to have a 03 cobra with 504whp and 497tq and all of my Mustang buddies are joking with me about my baby. So to be honest, I just want to make enough HP to blow their DOORS OFF!!! LOL.
