I wouldn't mod a lease man! Unless you plan on leasing to buy...

Make sure it says in you contract for the lease that you can mod the car. Pretty sure you have to keep it stock.

Leasing to buy is a decent deal isn't it? You help pay off the car while building your credit- and you can just continue to lease it out until you can get the APR you want. Is that normally how it goes?

No, any decent financial planner will tell you. You never lease a car for personal use. If you own a company you lease a truck or car because you can deduct 100% of the lease payment. If your a w2 employee you have to be a commission salesperson to get any advantage of leasing; and most times your still better off with the IRS milage deduction.

If leasing was a good deal the dealerships, and leasing companies wouldn't/ couldn't make money from it. And yes they make 3 to 4 times the amount leasing a car over just selling it to you.

Never lease a sports car like an Evo. Sorry no no no. Of course if you like throwing money away feel free to mail me some

Just to be on the safe side I wouldn't lease it if you wanna mod it. Just buy the car and get it over with!

If you're going to lease the car just stick to light mods than can easily be reverted back to stock. Skip a BOV unless you get one of the few goods ones and tune specifically for it.

Intake, exhaust, tune, and a short-shifter are great beginning mods and are all easily removed so you can go back to stock.
