2011 evo gsr- newbie modding questions
i wouldn't mod it unless you get it in the contract like others said. even then, you're only going to get away with minor mods, like a drop-in air filter and MAYBE a cat-back... however, i don't see them really going for ANY mods since it's a lease. doesn't matter if it's a regular lease or a lease-to-own.

some people doesnt like lease or lease to buy, for me it is cheaper and my sales man that i deal with a lot told me that its like putting a major down payment if i want to buy it, which i will buy it at the end, i wasnt planning to major mods just simple stuff
No, any decent financial planner will tell you. You never lease a car for personal use. If you own a company you lease a truck or car because you can deduct 100% of the lease payment. If your a w2 employee you have to be a commission salesperson to get any advantage of leasing; and most times your still better off with the IRS milage deduction.
If leasing was a good deal the dealerships, and leasing companies wouldn't/ couldn't make money from it. And yes they make 3 to 4 times the amount leasing a car over just selling it to you.
Never lease a sports car like an Evo. Sorry no no no. Of course if you like throwing money away feel free to mail me some

This is my first evo and i wanted to know what is the first basic upgrade can i start out. I did find a few major threads, my head is spinning of all the mods and company names

2nd Verify you can make modifications (doubtful)
3rd Discuss mods with your tuner and get familar with what to expect from each
nice man! love WW
IF you are going to chance modding it, then Tahoe55 is right, get a tune first. You can go with a Cobb AccessPort for that. A few other things would be a drop-in air filter (Cosworth is what I recommend) and MAYBE a cat-back exhaust. Anything else and you're probably going to be pushing it...
