hell know they arent thes same rmrs uses factory scoop the heat sheild shape wraps all the way around the the filter and the filter itself is larger and better shaped

you think that factory scoop helps that much?

have you looked at the mas adapter differences? The RMR is flat and causes a ton of turbulance where the RRM is smooth and angles air into the MAS without creating turbulance.

And i dont care what anyone else says but if you dyno the two there isnt going to be a damn bit of difference, frankly save your money and go cold air (and yes you can go cold air on an auto if you are creative).

yes rmr seems to be a better setup, its almost a cold air intake

but if you wanted to go cheap, which i've seen done before,

buy a small black plastic garbage can, and cut to fit. then buy an off the shelf k/n, s/b or any other high flow filter

the only thing else needed would be a round adaptor plate to fit the filter

and thats what costs money. if you can find it by itself, it should be no more than 5 bucks.

all thats needed is the length of the filter and the width of the output of the filter
