Talking Newbie

Hey everyone, I am a new guy here from Columbus, Ohio. I have owned mostly Mustangs and Camaros over the years, but I am being pulled to the Evo side now. I am really liking the idea of owning a AWD turbo 4 cycl. car because of the road conditions here where I live. I am looking to get into a Evo here very soon and I just do not know much about them is my only downfall. So that is my general quick intro and nice to meet everyone!

Nah, i wouldn't say its a downfall. Go test drive one or read up on them around the forums here. I don't even have an evo, but I love my regular lancer. Welcome to the forums.

Theres that thread that tells you what to look for when buying an Evolution since the one you may pick up is sure to be modded. Theres a lot of stuff here on the forums with information on what you would need to know about the Evolution. When I first got mine, I wondered about the maintenance since it was my first turbo car.

yeah the maintenance would also be a question for me too. I am VERY **** about my cars too so I like to know anything I can about them. I would like to find one in the $20-22 range with little to no mods with low(er) miles because I plan to keep it for awhile and I plan to drive it year round.

What I learned so far was that there are a ton of fluids in this car. Way more than I expected. They are expensive too. Oil changes are quite frequent for me. My mileage is pretty high, but it doesnt bother me. These cars are quite reliable.
