New Evo owner

Hello,

My name is Alan and I just got my 04 Evo 8 about 2 weeks ago and love it. I have a lot of plans for it already and ordered a great deal of parts for it thus far and can't wait to start putting them on. Here is my Evo when I got it.

I haven't done much to it yet. I lowered it, put new rims and tires on it, and tinted the window. Here is what it looks like now. (Minus the window tint)

Anyways just wanted to stop by and say hi.

Thanks. I had to take them off the car for now cause they are rubbing in the rear. But having the fenders rolled on Friday so they should be coming back on soon.

350 to the wheels is a great starting point. If you're like most of us it IS just a starting point, contrary to previous plans! Welcome!

Lol true. I don't plan on going all out of this car for a while. It is my only car so I do need to keep reliability into the equation as well. One day I plan on going all out of it but that's gonna be a few years down the road.

So when I purchased the car it already had the following installed on it:

Thermal Catback
Testpipe (not sure of brand)
Downpipe (not sure of brand)
Open O2 Dump (not sure of brand)
ETS UICP
ETS FMIC
Walbro 255
HKS Super Mega Flow Intake
Rear Slotted Rotors (Not sure of brand)

The following is stuff I pulled out of my 1g Talon that I parted out to use on the Evo:

AEM Tru Time Cam Gears
AEM Tru Boost Electronic Boost Controller
Gates Racing Timing Belt
PTE 1000cc Injectors
Glowshift Sandwhich Plate Adapter
Glowshift Boost Gauge
Glowshift Oil Pressure Gauge

So here is an update on the car. I have purchase the following items for the Evo. I am waiting for some of the stuff to come in and others I am trying to get installed. Thus far here is what I have purchased

HKS 264 Cams (Exhaust and Intake)
STM Ported Intake Manifold
Buschur Ported Throttle Body
10.5 Hotside
Muse UICP
Evo IX BOV
GT Spec Strut Bar
GT Spec Lower Tie Bar
Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs
5% Window Tint
18" 5Zegin ZR+ Rims (Bronze)
245/45/18ZR Hankook Ventus Evo 12 Tires
Autometer Dual Steering Column Gauge Pod
Autometer Triple Lower Dash Gauge Pod
Glowshift Oil Temp Gauge
AEM Uego Wideband
OEM Floormats
Tactrix Openport 2.0 Reflash Connector
Fidzana Flywheel
ACT HD Clutch Kit with Street Disc
JM Fab turbo intake
Whitelines 26mm Front Sway Bar
Whitelines 24mm Rear Adjustable Sway Bar
Deatschwerks (Probably spelled that wrong) 300lph Fuel Pump.
Also I painted the heat shield on the hood black to match the car.
