Exclamation Nos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey whats up guys I'm just wondering if anyone has a Non-Evo Lancer with Nitrous. Due to my low budget I was thinking of just putting a nitrous system on my basically stock OZ Rally Lancer. What do you guys think about NOS???

defeinitely not a good idea unless you strengthen you enging with some new pistons...now if you don't mind not having your car for a whie you could get the NOS run it a couple times...blow your engine and then rebuild it...but that wouldn't make too much sense.....get new pistons and be smart about it and you'll be ok

Why would it blow the pistons if the stock 4g94 engine can be turbo charged with no problem and run a decent 6psi? Wouldn't it be the same type of stress if say you only put in a 40shot of NOS?

u can do up to a 50 shot of nos..any higher and *poof*. and of course nos will shorten your engine life by a lot..so it's your choice.

NOS is a brand.

i think zex is the way to go, no micro switches. all in one built in box.

upgrade your pistons and your set, these pistons are sooo super easy to install. then put a 55 shot jet in.

but really you are better off with a turbo. then sqeeze at the track

i rather be fast all the time then fast some of the time

Plenty of members on this board HAD nitrous oxide, and all of them now have new engines... or are in need of one.
