Herro! I'm behind Enemy lines!

Hey guys,

I's a subaru regular aand have been on Nasioc for several years and wouldn't think of driving anything else....well that is until lately. I have recently been looking for a good DD to use while I swap my RS. I've always like the Evo 4 and 5.

Just wanted to say hello!

Here is my current ride!

2000 2.5RS

STi shortblock w/ rs heads
kyb agx w/ eibach springs
full stromung exhaust
other ods and ends

I love the evo 4 and 5 also. But they didn't bring them
To the states. I'd kill for a VI Tommi Makinen though...

yeah I'm aware of them not being but I'm thinking of just getting a front clip and swapping or just grabbing one that was imported.

Unless you REALLY like the Evo IV/V and have the disposable funds for it, I really don't think it's worth the headache of getting one.

I heard Trey Cobb of Cobb Tuning started an importing business. I think its usually for cars 25+ years old, maybe hit them up and see what it would take

But even for the Evos, the oldest ones aren't even that old yet.

Again, unless you truly have a passion for the older Evos along with the finances for it, it's not worth it. And judging by what had happened to the Skyline GT-Rs a year or two ago, don't be surprised if the older gray-market Evos get cracked down on some day.
