Back after almost 8 years...but this time with an Evo
I posted here a little bit, starting back in 2002, right after I got one of the first Lancer OZ's in Calgary. I kept the car for 4 years, then we got a red 06 which my wife took over. Meanwhile, I got another Mitsu 4x4 - import Pajero.
Fast forward to the present. I'm now on my fifth Pajero/Montero, I had some brief fun with an AWD Galant, and my wife is in an Outlander. But I've been getting the evo bug again. Always wanted one, and the OZ in 2002 was because of the evo.
I've finally bought one. I'm importing a JDM Evo IV into Canada, build date of October 1996. Should be here in a month or two...
I'll post up some pics of it, but for now, its good to be back. Not sure how many of you guys were around in 2002 - but this community has grown an enormous amount in that time. Congratulations on sticking around - many domains have come and gone, and EvoM is still here!
Guess I need to update my signature?
Just for fun, I dug up my first post on here, from over nine years ago:

Well, I finally got my CN9A (evo IV) on New Year's Eve. I've done a ton of work to it since then, but I'll probably start a build thread for that... Just wanted to update. Even the early evo's are a ton of fun! Loving my new rig! Here's a sneak peek, right after I got it, sitting next to my JDM diesel Pajero...
