hey fellas, names rickie and im new to the evo world. figured i post some stuff about myself and why im here. well i had a 300zx na-tt convertion. had a kid so i sold it for a mustang.(i work for a Ford dealership) and the mustang had back seats. and now i miss being in an import and am looking for an evo now. just waiting for the right one to come along. The evo just seemed to fit my life a little more then the other cars i had in mind, sti ,s4 ect... but anyways heres a few pics off my current car.

 

If I were to drive a domestic it would definitely be a mustang so you already have good taste. Now your taste just got that much better when you decided to start looking for an evo . Your stang looks nice but those wheels sure do look like they would fit an import much nicer, just saying.. Lol. Good luck on finding an Evo and if you need any help just shoot me a PM. Im probably doing the same thing as you, going from a domestic to an import. I am planning on going from my 03 Cobra to an Evolution 8/9. Must be something in the air in VA haha.

 

Anything done to the cobra? How come u selling. They are prOaboy the one of the barest cars ford mad. Lol ended the Camaro

 

It has 2.8" upper, prochamber, 3" mac catback, FLSFC with jacking rails, hard launch kit, AFCO Heat Exchanger and a few other things. But I mainly want something different. I havent totally made my mind up yet but its leaning more towards selling and trying to get an Evolution the more I look at them haha.

 

Weren't you down at the Dash Motors meet on Sunday. Pretty sure I saw your car there, I lol'd at the plates.

yep thats me! lol. i just want somthing i can take me gf and son aound in comfert. Sti's are nice but motor is some ****. i cant tell you how man come to the shop with blown motors, tran's and turbos. PLUS I drove on the other day and fell in love haha

 

thats a nice set up. who tuned it? exessive?

 

It was tuned by a previous shop before I bought it. If I was to get any tuning done that probably be one of the shops I would consider. But the tune was checked by the place I bought it from and it was in check so the car runs good only issue is traction is usually nonexistent especially in 1st and 2nd.

 

yeah mine dose that too on turns. good thring the evo AWD
