Deep Tone at high RPM Lancer ES Muffler

Are there any axelbacks available for an ES Lancer that keep a deep and low tone at high RPM and will not melt my bumper...im going to get cat in a little while....and how significant if any HP gain from just the Muffler....i know it cant be much but im just curious what the best kind to get is that will keep that low tone and wont melt the old bumper...thanks

your best bet would probably be to goto a local muffler shop or parts store normaly people at them are verry knowledgable on my truck i had a flow master exaust but it was all custom and it had a deep exaust thru out all ranges i loved it not loud just nice low rumble.. umm.. i have the evo 8 and its stock exaust is pritty nice not sure what the es comes with .. tryn to give ya an ideal because i havent seen any responces hope this was a little help.. you can maby try a cherry bomb normaly they do ok and arnt hard to put on

i have a magnaflow, with all stock and just axle back it was a nice low tone, but with so many mods ** not that many ** but headers test pipe, it gets a ton louder but still low.

but ya, go to a shop ... or multiple shops and ask around.

I got a greddy... and its deep as hell, but also I have a test pipe your best bet is look into buschur exhaust because its 2.5" from the cat back. Or magnaflow for around 300$ for the catback or greddy... but those 2 are 2.25" just depends on what your looking for.
