New guy looking to learn

I currently drive a SC'd civic Si. I am looking to go awd because winter sucks without it. I was thinking either an evo or wrx. After consideration, I decided I want an evo. At first I wanted a new one, but now I'm not sure. I am leaning more towards an evo 9. I still need to learn the difference between the models and such.

I hope I can join the family soon.

The 9 looks way better than the 8's. The 9 has way nicer seats than the cloth 8's. The 9 has MIVEC which helps the turbo spool up faster and the head is better than the 8 head. The 9 also has an active center diff for helping put the power down where it needs to go. 9 taillights look better also. 9 has better looking rims. 9 has a longer first gear.

Only downfall of the 9 in my opinion is the short 4th gear.

I am sure I am missing some stuff so I will let some others add.

Thanks for the info! How does the 9 compare to the 10? I know the block is different. Not sure what else beside the body.
