What's up! I'm Brandon, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey (No guido here) raised in Scottsdale, AZ and currently living in Phoenix. I am 20 years old, 21 in April. I have always been into cars (Barrett Jackson is here ) , I have always loved Evo's and STi's and I finally own one. The better of the two, of course.

I know they don't get too much love on this board, but thats okay . I bought the car on halloween 2010, stock with 9K on the odo for $16K. Soon after added a K&N SRI, FMIC, IC Piping, aftermarket DP, catback, coils etc. and it was tuned on E85. It was around 330whp and ~400tq. NO TRACTION.

I traded in the SS with 25k on the odo, on Sept. 29, 2011 for a 2005 WW VIII with 88k on the clock. I know, I went back four years and added a few miles but I feel it was definitely worth it. I got a 2 year 24,000 mile extended aftermarket warrantee. Here is the mod list and some pictures.

I added FIC 1250 injectors and got tuned for E85
I took off the canards and had someone fill the holes and repaint the bumper (MUCH better)

GSC S2 Cams are sitting in my room waiting for install

Maybe HTA Green Turbo, then a full rebuild once the warrantee expires


I usually don't take this much time for an intro thread, so hopefully I wasnt too boring I have been trolling the forum for a few months, been learning some good stuff

HAHA! I hear ya man. Folks on here don't seem to be all that friendly (at least next to the other forums I have been on for my previous vehicles). But anyway... I'm just about as new as you, but welcome mate! Scottsdale is awesome, I spent a lot of time down there as a kid, my family still has a house down there. Really nice in December haha!

Yeah Scottsdale is pretty awesome, I miss living there. I still head back to my old neighborhood sometimes to see some old friends. If you're ever down this way hit me up man

How much did ya pay for it? And where did you order it from?? I really want one!
Is it coming prepainted?

 

Mitsubishiparts.net sells them prepainted in white only, so i got lucky haha. Total for the bumper, crash beam, and license plate bracket was $700 and change so i had to jump on it. Good deal.
