Whats up everyone?? I recently traded in my VW GTI for a 2012 GSR. I really loved the GTI but I hated the fact that you couldn't turn off all the electrical nannies on it. I am really enjoying the Evo and look forward to building it up using all the knowledge on this forum to get it right. The Evo really makes you feel connected to it when you drive it hammer down, because of this I can't wait to get it to a track and some Autox events. Hope to meet some of you in person and check out some of your rides.

lol I just got an exhaust ticket on rt 17 in Paramus Friday. Cop knew it was catless but let me go with noisy muffler. Welcome and drive "carefully"

I was on 17 this past friday and had commented to my daughter that the cops were out in full force that day. They had 3 cars pulled over in a two mile stretch. I guess they were cracking down. There were both County cops and Paramus cops everywhere.

 

Well I was pulling out of a gas station and there were no cars coming. Probably around 11:30pm so little to no cars out. Thought I was in the clear so I merged with a quick 1st-3rd pull. Guess the cop was driving way back out of sight and said he heard me. Then when I let off the gas when I saw him coming up quick, boom fireball. He said he had a cammed/full bolt-on Camaro w/o cats so he didn't feel right getting me for no cats. Got lucky I had a decent cop.
