Wanted to introduce myself and say hello........ Just took delivery on a 2011 MR with 100 miles on it!

Been lurking here for a few weeks when I decided that I was going to purchase an EVO. Sold my 08' R32 on Monday to grab the new ride today. I'm not new to modding and I am looking forward to seeing what I can get out of the MIVEC Engine.

Can't wait to start interacting with members and seeing what the 3 Diamond community is all about. (I found that the VW community is kinda lame and pretentious for no reason; except for some of the older guys but far and few between).

I'm sure the EVO community is much cooler............

welcome aboard! nice to know another evo in houston. check the regional board for local happenings. tx2k12 is coming up so that is a definite venue for you to see more evo owners. enjoy that sst!

Yeah I agree..... Driving an R32 vs the EVO is night and day. Completely different animal and driving experience. VW can't touch it! I had a modded FX35 before that which was fun but; this by far the most awesome machine I have ever owned.

Thanks for the info...... I may drive out there for the meet for sure and checkout the scene. It'll be my first event so I can definitely get some ideas for up and coming mods.

Still under 300 miles on her.... I think I put 150-60ish in the past 2 days. not bad considering I drive less than 4500k a year.

^^Sick ride bro the good thing is that you get to enjoy it how it comes from factory. You don't have to worry about who drove it, and how hard they drove the car. I was trying to get into an X, but just couldn't afford it so i ended up getting an Evo VIII. It looks nice though can't wait to see pics when you start detailing her out lol.
Oh i see. Ive never been there since i dont really know all of Houston, but im in the Pasadena area. Who knows maybe we'll ketch up one of these days hahaha
