New Evo IX owner in Westchester, NY
Hey everybody. Now I know what you're thinking... "New owner? You've been registered on this board since Jan 2004 and you're just now getting an Evo?!"
That's right. Car dreams do come true, eventually. Back in 2003 when the Evo was first released in the US, I was just a 17 year old high schooler and I wanted an Evo so badly. Of course my parents said "Well, when you're older and can buy one yourself, go ahead."
Well 9 years later that day has finally come. I've been searching for about 8 months now and found the Graphite Grey Evo IX MR of my dreams - in nearly perfect condition with just 20,700 miles on her.
She also has some upgrades:
Full 3" turboback exhaust
Walbro 255 fuel pump
HKS EVO Reloaded Racking Suction Intake
Equal-length exhaust manifold
Larger FMIC and upgraded LICP
Flashed ECU by DynaFlash
The exterior is completely stock save for a stubby antenna.
Not sure what my engine plans for her are just yet but I do plan on doing a double din conversion on the inside and getting JDM MR taillights and UK trunk badges.
Coming from a 2001 Nissan Maxima, this car has been absolutely amazing to drive thus far.

Welcome. Looking at the mod list, before any of the cosmetic upgrades you have planned, do yourself and your car a huge favor and have it check out and retuned by a shop that specializes in Evolutions. There are several within a reasonable driving distance in your area. Good luck.
Thanks guys!
Yes, I will be bringing it to Sean Ivey to have it tuned and dyno'd to see what whp it's making
