Possible to buy an evo for 10-11k?

I'm in the hunt for a new vehicle, and the AWD evo's and WRX's have caught my attention. Im on a bit of a budget. so i was wondering if it is possible to buy an evo for 10-11k$?

Possible: Yes
Likely to be low miles and not ragged out: NO

Yes it's possible but it's probably going to be beat to hell, have a salvage title and give you a ton of problems. Save up for when you can get a nice clean used Evo 8 or 9 or even a new one if you like the X's.

A $10k evo will be the most expensive car you've ever owned.

you could probably find a really nice one for 10k, you would just have to supply your own motor and drivetrain.
seriously though, for 10k I would stay away from evos like others have said. maybe try to find an old bugeye and have a few grand for parts and maintenance and whatnot

I bought mine 2 years ago for $9,000 from the 1st owner, it needed a transfer case. I bought a new exhaust and replaced the brakes and some other small stuff but I would have probably did that if I bought most any other one out there for sale. Be patient and be willing to travel a little but YES, they are out there.

I paid just under 10k for mine. Around 150k on it. Light defects, built bottomend with around 30k. One of the best investments to date.

on a budget and looking for an evo is not wise. its costly i can tell u that much.
finding one in that price range, not a problem. salvage title of course or missing parts or a ton of damage. pick your poison.

for $10,000.. a good quality , undamaged, not beat the crap out of , decent mileage evo 9 does not exist my friend. unless you want to rebuild a lot of it. but 2006 evos are still selling privately in the 20k's...and more frequently i've seen mid-high 20k's

it is possible but most likley will either be wrecked, salvage title, high miles, or something internally getting ready to let go, or maybe you will get lucky and just find someone that just cant afford the payment anymore or is hurting for money

It really bugs me when people say they either want a "wrx" or an "evo",NO; its an sti or an evo!
It just shows they don't know anything about both of them.
