future evo viii owner :)
Hi everyone-
Just wanted to say what's up to everybody. I'm a 24 yr old, last-year econ major at ucla. I took off a year and switched majors countless times: astrophysics, chemistry, lifesci, math/econ, finally econ. I'm pulling a Van Wilder here.
My first car that I learned to drive on for a few years was the Acura Integra Type R. My Dad and I had the white and the yellow. Then I got tired of FWD (WWD - "wrong wheel drive" heh) and I wanted to finally go RWD, hence, I got a Mustang. And there's no going back to FWD for me. So now I've got a heavily track-modded 2000 Mustang V6 that I've taken to Buttonwillow Raceway in SoCal two times, and probably going to again in March and/or April.
I'll be graduating in June, and then I'll be finally getting my hands on a new Evo VIII, so I can't wait. FWD is no good; but I'm all for AWD.
I've been "driving" it in GT3 for years (haven't we all) and watching it on the Japanese videos (Best Motoring) with eager anticipation.
Ever since my first encouner with an imported Evo VI on Sunset Blvd a few years ago, it's been a day I would have waited an eternity for: finally Evolving with my very own Evo.
Pleased to meet you all,
--Marc
