15 post rule question.

I've been a member if this forum now for about 4 years. Everything pertaining to an Evo 8/9 has been covered and I've used this forum from everything to changing my fluids to completely re wiring my car and doing a full tear down and rebuild. I havent run into one problem that hasn't been discussed so why should I clutter the forum with a post that has allready been posted just to be able to post in the market. I guess this thread is hypocritical or maybe EvoM needs a "rant" forum.

i believe that the rule count is to discourage people from starting up new accounts to simply sell stuff under a psuedo name. I just got a higher post count simply for responding .

You have been on here a long time. Throw some of the knowledge that you have gleaned to some noobs who could use it.

15 posts is not a lot; it's easy to go into a main place where you get post count and post some useful stuff or take part in a discussion

I understand it's to eliminate new members from the market place that could potentially be scams or just uneducated on the subject matter but shouldn't the length of membership over ride post count?

it says you need 15 on-topic posts. How do you know what an on-topic post is?

I would assume that everything in this section(newbie) nets you posts.

Exactly my problem; I don't have an EVO (yet) but until I get one I probably won't have anything useful to say, so my post-count stays low and I can't even post in the "Lancer Wanted" section.

Leaves me the option of post-bombing just to get my count up....
