That looks like it might be pretty damn close to $12k in damage. You may be better off if it is totaled. Best of luck to you.

Did the IX have aluminum panels and all that? I'm not sure about evos, but some of the lower production numbers cars are ridiculously expensive to fix, and as they depreciate, it's easier and easier to total them. Unfortunately. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about that, but that's what insurance is for. Cars are replaceable, lives are not, the good thing is that you are ok.

Well I finally received the good news this morning. The shop WILL start fixing the Evo today and got myself a daily driver(honda civic). Now I can put this baby back in the garage. Thanks guys for the support. damage is around 8k.

Let me just say, it was the longest months of my life. I almost lost her and it was the crappiest feeling. Thank you baby Jesus. Drives awesome and looks great.
