New and new
New and new
Hello,
I'm Ron and live in the SF/Bay Area most of my life.
I originally started with Nissan S-chassis and Toyota AE86s. Now, I'm daily driving a IS300 and tracking a friend's Evo 8. It's a project a bunch of my friends got together an pooled money together and share as our wives do not want a bunch of gear heads consuming everyone's household like before so now one track car with 3 guys enjoying the Evo 8 project. Its easier on the wallet and less overall headache.
Autocross mostly. I don't waste my time with street racing nor do I have anything good to say about it.
My other motorsports interest are F1, rally (WRC), hitting local indoor karting spots, and riding my 2006 R6.
I've been registered on this forum for a bit, but never posted an intro until now after reading a few threads.
I had the pleasure of driving an Evo 10 and my wife and I love to eventually autocross one and daily drive it as our family car.
She and I would only be happy with the manual transmission I guess that is oily offered with the GSR. Well, at least it's still being offered. Not too many people opt for the manual transmission anymore....what is it now 6% of the U.S. population buy cars or new cars with manual transmission?...Anyhow, glass to to registered here and will enjoy reading about and looking at all the great set ups of the EVo 1-9 and 10 by the other fellow members.
Drive safe everyone.
