Ok so this is my FIRST post on this site! I need a little advice on a potential evo that I may be picking up this weekend. And YES i have read the threads on what to look for on your first evo but would still like some detailed opinions...... 2003 evo with 45k. I personally looked at it and its in super nice shape. He claims the internals of the motor are stock but it does have the following aftermarket parts: bov, exhaust, turbo timer, boost control, boost guages, headers, and electronic fuel control? It is a clean title and he is allowing me to take it to the mitsubishi dealership first for the inspection. He is selling it for 16,500 to me which seems too good to be true. A final red flag was that it has not been tabbed in a while but he is getting them today. He claims it hasnt been driven since he just bought a brand new bmw. opinions please. Thanks
