Finally, time for a platform upgrade ;)
Finally, time for a platform upgrade ;)
Hey guys, new member and long time lurker here. Think it's about time to swap rides since I've always wanted a 4g63 evo, and I'm sick of the BS/drama on msf.org lol. Shooting to pick up an EVO IX MR within the year.
My current ride is a True Red 2008 Speed3 making about 320whp/340wtq. She's pretty much fully bolted but I really feel limited with the car on hpde's and autox days, makes an awesome daily though.
Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself, gonna head back to lurking and reading all the stickies now
Pics and mod list:

TWM Full Shifter + Adapter - Forge BPV - CS SRI + TIP - Corksport catless racepipe + catback - Cobb AP self/e-tuned - CP-E HPFP - SteedSpeed turbo manifold - Corksport Downpipe - CP-E TMIC - Hotchkis FRS - Koni Yellows - Denso Iridiums - Stoptech rotors - CS braided brake lines - 17x9 +45 Enkei RPF1's Matte Black + Hankook VV12Evo 245/40 - HR Springs - DH - Escort 9500ix hardwired - TRZ Transmission Motor mount - TRZ dogbone rear motor mount - CP-E Passenger mount - RA flaps - Hella Supertones

welcome! I came from a Cobalt SS/TC, which made pretty much the same numbers as your car (very similar platform to your MS3 performance wise) and I couldn't be happier making the switch. It's slower since my MR is stock, but I'm happier nonetheless. I enjoy it a lot more and not running out of traction all the time is nice.

Hope I share your enjoyment when I get mine
Thanks, it took a bit of work
