Make sure to put some floor mats in it if you buy. Lastly, what is the total price of the car as it is not listed.
The total price without tax as the lady told me today would come out to be 22 grand and some change. Monthly payments for 6 years would be 200 a day and full insurance is 69 a month for me. As much as i know for my age i believe thats a good price and it comes with a limited warrnety.

As for the previous owner, the sales girl told me it was some chick that had it. It was traded in and came in clean when the girl brought it in! I still have to test drive it and see how the drive is i just wanted basic info about the car first.

Carfax stats only a few reports of maintenance nothing as of repairs.

and the car is stock to the bone

that's pretty much the exact same deal I had on my car, same carfax report and everything. Getting a stock car is the way to go and a rare thing to find on an Evo. It's nice to start with a clean slate.

You can't go wrong with an evo, I bought mine at your age and still to this day love it and invest a lot of money into it, not because I have to but because I enjoy it. I'm one to get sick of vehicles FAST, before I had this I couldn't keep a car for more than 6 months. I've had this for 5 years now.

EVO FTW
I bet you were really happy! hehe
Ill keep it stock as long as im in school Only thing id want is a new custom turboback exhaust my cousin is willing to make for me!
Im super glad you said you have it for 5 years! I wanna keep mine for a long time and seems like the evo has treated you nicely for 5 years since you are not complaining hehe

Changing that my self would not be an issue at all, most shops are ripoffs when it comes to changing that! They asked for 4 grand to do just timing belt on my audi and i did it my self over the weekend, just takes time when doing it your self, but being my age im not a busy kid! hehe

Thank you for letting me know all the parts id need to get! Gonna make a list and prices as soon as i get the evo

i had an 03 wrx. it was a fun car it had a custom 3" exhaust, dp and uppipe cobb tune and some suspension mods. i LOVED that car till i totaled it. was going to get another one but ive always loved the evo so i figured i would test drive one to see if i wanted to spend the extra money on one instead of another wrx. well here i am 6 months later and loving my evo! as much as i loved that wrx i will never go back. everything bout this car is so much better. the power delivery, handling looks everything bout the car pretty much except for the rumble the wrx had. just make sure u take care of the evo and it will be good to u. if u start lacking in taking care of it she will show u how pissed she can get lol.

There is no way that you're only paying 69 a month for insurance. Tell her to ring that up again. I'm 24 and I'm still paying the full price of $250 a month and that's cheap for this car. She must have rang it up as a Lancer instead of a Lancer Evo.

Check out mitsubishiparts.net the have a kit with all the parts you will need. Just be sure to pick up a few gallons of coolant too, you'll end up doing a complete coolant change when you replace the water pump.

I've had my car since November 15th of last year. I absolutely love it. It's a blast to drive, even completely stock. I am yet to have a moment where I don't enjoy driving my car. Well ok I don't like long trips because of not having cruise control. I might do an aftermarket install of that.

Most worthless piece of crap I've ever owned. Ex SRT4, Honda, and WRX owners are trading their cars for Evo's now. The community has turned to carp. Look elsewhere. Trust me on this.

From a very reliable and trustworthy source, if you are only at 60k, you can get away with just doing the belts and be fine. Mitsu does not demand you do pullies and water pump at 60k.

With that said, I have the belts, pullies, and water pump (all OEM of course) sitting on my toolbox to do once i'm done with my DSM partout I see no reason to not change those things while you're in there, but in a pinch, you'd be fine. Doesn't sound like you'll be in a pinch though.

I've not owned a WRX and I understand them to be fine cars. However, the EVO is a different animal altogether. It is calm and subdued when you want to take it easy, and is a visceral explosion when you feel like getting frisky. Without a doubt, buy an EVO - preferably a stock, well-maintained one. Good luck and congrats on doing so well in school!

Todd

Its the front and rear seats cuz there is only a picture of the front ones and the rear ones. Both are leather and suede down the center

Hey man, I'm in Seattle too. Not many electric blues around so it's kinda rare. BUT, the pic of the rear seats has different front seats than the pic of the front. The front seats in the rear seat pic are not the OEM recaros. Something to ask the dealer. Good luck.

It's not just the Evo community is the entire tuner community as a whole. Doesn't matter where you go there will always be d-bags.

If you look at the picture of the rear seats, you can see the front seats are different than the picture of the actual front seats. They are indeed different as OEM Evo seats don't come with those tabs on the side and the seat belt harness holes look off.

Same can be said with Euro scene, muscle car scene, etc. There's always going to be jackasses in each, running his mouth, thinking he's the king of the streets when his car can't beat the next guy. By far, the Evo community has been good to me and almost most owners respect other make and model cars. I don't plan on leaving this scene for a long time.
