I dont do either, its just a DD for me. Very impractical vehicle for a college student, bought on impulse.

I went from the MS3 to a IX evo as well as FORSAKEN (he is a copy-cat ninja bastard). I have never regretted offing the MS3.

They just dont compare to eachother very well, the Evo is superior in every way I can think of. Even the versatility of the hatch was a drawback. Rear seat legroom is better in the IX than the MS3.

evos are badass but super cars?....
what would that make an aventador.....an alien spaceship.
I had an ms3 too, I think the top end stock was a little better, it seemed to my butt dyno that it still pulled a little at higher rpms. speaking stock for stock.
still take the evo any day all day.

Exactly. Evo's are not super cars. Bone stock, I am even slightly underwhelmed. However, they are a great platform to modify. All the ETS goodies I ordered should take care of that nicely.

What about this one? Seems to be a great deal but I don't know if i should trust the original owner. He has a filter right there on the valve cover instead of hooking it up properly to the intake. It looks to have an AMS inter-cooler, BPV, some sort of short ram and a TurboXS exhaust? It only has 4,037 miles on it which is amazing.
What do you guys think, I'm just an evo newbie.

Hey thanks for the Welcome, so you went from evo to mazdaspeed?
What do you miss about the evo?

I would like to donate, I have yet to see a donate button
On other forums there is a blatant link for donating, do I just buy a shirt or a sticker?

I really loved the speed 3 when i test drove it. I thought it was one of the greatest cars ever. Then I drove an Evo and I totally knew nothing else could compare.

What, an evo forum sticker for my mazdaspeed lol

Yeah it sucks, I've been looking for a 2011-2012 MR around my area while keeping payments around $400 Max or my wife says no.
I'll let you know if I come across some good IX deals tho.

I also came from a speed3. Great cars for the price, very easy t make 320whp and 360wtq with full bolt one tuned with E85. My Evo x has full Perrin exhaust with Perrin fmic and Perrin ots map. Let's just say buddy with his fully bolted and tuned speed3 Walks me by about 2-3 cars from 40 or 60 roll. Hopefully I can change all that by getting tuned with E85 myself.

Those of you who did go from speed 3 to evo x, how drastically did the insurance rates change?

I came from a 2010 ms3 to a 12 evo gsr. My insurance increased by about 15 bucks per month.

This is funny. I use to have 4g eclipse and every 4g eclipse owner is jumping to a Z and every Z owner seems to be jumping to Evo. lol
