Weapon R makes stuff that is of poor quality. I got an engine damper from them and only test fitted it and the paint started to flake off.

I suggest getting the AMS version 2 that has the bracket that will prevent it from blowing off under high boost. We all know this is a common problem for our cars so this revised LICP is great. I have one and it's been very good to me thus far.

Wouldn't recommend the injen piping, mine popped off quite frequently and it has thin walls so the t bolt clamps cant be too tight or it can cave it. I'd agree with the ets, thats what I'm about to go with

Muse is cheap if thats what you want. I don't particularly like the quality or fitment. I used to use muse pipes.

Most ICs and IC pipes will fit each other. May not line up perfectly but you can get it to fit.
This would be the first time I've ever heard someone referring to any problem regarding fitment. We've sold literally hundreds of these LICP's since it's introduction in 2007 and I have yet to see one fitment problem. We've since included a longer coupler for the turbo but not due to fitment, but more for convenience of install for those who have trouble aligning the pipe to the rigid stock FMIC couplers.

I'm not sure if you're referring to our older aluminum version or the newer stainless model, but I have countless of reviews/recommendations from customers who praise quality and fitment of the product. It's a 1 piece, mandrel bent stainless steel pipe with mirror quality polished finish that couldn't bend/crack/oval if you drove a car over it (I've done it).

If you mean cheap as in price, I'd agree with you, it is pretty inexpensive but if you're referring to quality, I'd gladly offer one of these up to compare against any of the brands you just recommended. These cost about $50-60 less than the best comparable option and these include a lifetime guarantee against defects so we'll gladly stand behind the product.

Yes i never had a problem with fitment, everything slipped in like a charm (injen IC, and nisei intercooler) . quality is definitely nice as well, as i compared to a friends ets piece. I have the newer stainless model and it feels as sturdy as my exhaust
p.s. tiago i wish i couldve gotten that coupler! how soon did you start including it? bought mine not too long ago

Go with our lower intercooler piping kit. You won't be disappointed. The increase in throttle response is well worth it. The problem with many of our competitors is they use 1.8" to 2.0" tubing which restricts flow and immediately adds back pressure to the system.

It's like pushing air through a Coffee straw vs a Slurpee straw.

Thanks!

Michael

I don't know what to tell you. It didn't fit well for me. It was hard to install and it put the coupler on my AMS intercooler at an odd angle. It was on the endtank more diagonally than straight on, and I was relying on the clamping force of the worm clamp to keep it on as is more than anything. It also put pressure on my bumper and made the passenger side raise up a little, and the undertray on that side didn't fit well any more. I tried adjusting it for a better fit but gave up. Its the SS one with I guess the short coupler.

I just received my Muse FMIC from vr-speed and it wont fit. I've contacted VR-speed for help, but so far, in my experience, its absolutely not a bolt-on piece.
If anyone has advice for installing, especially mounting on the passenger side, I would really appreciate it.
