SSP Deep Pan Fitment Issue.

Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd give the community a heads up on a fitment issue with the SSP Deep Pan (SST) and Harman Motive's LICP. The design of the Harman LICP fits the EVO X (GSR & MR) just fine, but if you plan to run SSP's 2" Deep Pan it will not fit (not even close). I think the major reason the Harman Motive LICP doesn't work with the deep pan is due to its 1 pc design (no coupler at the U-bend by the FMIC).

So my question is what aftermarket LICP (other then stock, I know it fits stock and am kicking myself for selling my stock one now...) will fit and allow me to run the 2" Deep Pan? If your running the 2" Deep Pan by SSP what LICP are you running, and was fitment a snap? It was a massive bummer this morning when I went to install it only to find out it had massive clearance issues.

Any insight/help would be great, as I will have to pick up another LICP (probably something that is 2 pc) that will work so I can run the Deep Pan.

Thanks Everyone!

The AMS lower has just over 2" of clearance to the stock pan. I think it may be as much as 2.5, but I have so much crap in the way, I couldn't see well enough with my hand in the way on the ruler see. Indyevo has a deep pan, I'll ask him next time I talk to him what pipe he is running.

Thanks Kozmic!

Looks like AMS is the way I'm going to have to go as most who are running the Deep Pan (except Jeremy himself who runs ETS's) are running it.

I would love a picture just to see how tight it is with the AMS LICP and the Deep Pan installed (so I know what to expect in terms of clearance).

I think Jeremy is running our Lower pipe with the SSP Pan. You might check with him. Just noticed you wrote that above, guess you already know

Just and update, did my Deep Pan and Transmission Cooler and Pro Red Fluid install and everything went super smooth. The AMS LICP works perfect and has plenty of clearance to allow for the Deep Pan to fit with no foreseen issues with it making any contact. Car is shifting great, and I am experiencing little to no shift shock now when in S-Sport during spirited drives.
