ive seen only one BONE stock evo 8 in my life and it was a rally red. my buddy picked up this 03 from the biggest FOB doctor ever, and he promised that it was bone stock its whole life; and it was bone stock visually inside and out, but how could you tell? the infamous mitsubishi monster zip tie underneath the intake box was still in place!

My mr tranny held 400awhp 376 awtq and didn't break anything, only had that power for about 4k miles before I swapped in the 5spd. If your worried about the tranny get a GSR or SE. They aren't as strong as the 5spd but I would hardly call the 6spd 'junk'.

 

I like the MR's, however I would just get an RS.

 

a lot of this also depends on how u are gonna drive it. if u launch it. get a 5 speed.

 

Its going to be my daily for a little but i plan on doing some performance and stance works to it.
