do a compression test and negotiate the price. I just picked up a 04 fully stock with less miles for 12k

Not even close to being true. It was a former shop car actually. Fresh built motor with perfect compression and leak down results. But thanks for your opinion.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I question why someone would want to sell this car. It's on consignment so someones trying to get rid of it instead of trading it in or selling it personally.

I emailed the dealer offerring $15,000 only if a credible mechanic can confirm that the car will not need any major repairs/service as it is. I doubt the dealer will go for it so I'll probably just be patient and wait for a better deal to come up.

Sux having to play the waiting game. Regardless, my next car will definitely be an evo 8 or 9.

I bought that exact car for that exact price with 30k miles, full coil-over suspension, intake, fuel pump, upgraded brake disks and rotors, SSR rims, yoko rubber, cams, SS brake lines, SS clutch lines, and some other stuff that I can't think of right now. There were a lot more mods though. This was 2 years ago.

Price is a lil high, but you should buy it and sell me the front strut bar I bought mine for
$18k with 27k miles.

Check it out...same price with less than 30K! Sometimes these dealers can be pretty ridiculous.
