possibly emigrating!
Cheers Doghouse,
Like i said evo iv's are looked down on in England(too many horror stories about crankwalk and ayc rear diff's made of chalk
)
I replaced the engine with a later one and never had a problem with the diff.
Living in Jamaica i would gladly sell my evo for a bit of your weather
On a different note why would you need an evo in Jamaica when you can all run that fast!!!!!!(Bolt,Blake,Powell,etc.,etc.)

I can run but not that fast
I have an evo 6 and 7 here in Jamaica
Funny how in one country, something is spurned while in another country, it is greatly accepted. That Evo is so cool. If there is a way for you to keep it in Texas, I would do it. Maybe you could end up selling it here before you go back across the pond. Good to see someone from England posting on the forum. BTW, are you on the Mitsubishi Lancer Register forum in Great Britain? I joined up and the chaps there seem very friendly, especially to a good old Yankee like me.
Yea Samson,i'm on the MLR(same username)
I'm glad you found our hospitality to your liking
evo iv's are the least sought after in the uk(1-3=retro cool,4's&5's have the wrc wide track,7,8,9 more modern and refined and x's for people who have long ends
iv's seem to have a bad rap for crankwalk(so do 1-3's but they are retro cool
)but when i bought mine i liked iv's and ix's (but couldn't stretch to a ix)
each to there own i suppose,in my opinion there's never been a bad evo

If you are looking to buy one, the one I was looking at had 75000KM and the guy wanted $9500.
8300 pounds for an evo iv,are they on crack!!!!!!!!that is nice evo vii/evo viii territory there,me and you need to have a chat about an import/export partnership

Seriously,a mint condition evo iv with high spec mods would struggle to sell for £4500 in the uk,i don't see how it can cost £3800 for a shipping container, some taxes and a few sheets of paperwork

have a look on the lancerregister in the UK at the evo's for sale section,it will make you cry!
