hi im new here just bought a evo 8 gsr fully stock and i want to put some mods now i dont know much about car parts and stuff so i want to know whats a good exhuast to make my car sound cool and loud and how i make it have the woosh sound also i want to put a new spoiler so where should i look and racing seatbelts thanks guys please dont flame me and im too lazy to see the search bar and i know im rice and im proud to say i cant wait until i turn rice!

What that thread basically said was the first things that anyone should do are basically an Exhaust system, an Intake, and then a tune/flash

well, as far as vendors go, I personally like http://www.maperformance.com/
they have the same prices as many others and I like their layout.

i would suggest snooping around on there, read descriptions of stuff. see what you do and don't like.

this is a good brand, and would definitely make your car louder.

To make it so you can hear the "woosh" sound better you could get a intake for it.

wait but i thought for the woosh i needed a blow off valve or director vavle btw whats the differnce between the 2 and which one is better for my car

 

I have a stock Blow off valve on my car, and it does go woosh because the intake. you can definitely hear it.
it is an evo 10 though.
im assuming your car would be the same way. for a louder woosh than a stock one you could get a blow off valve... but those also can make your car stall and/or run funny when you let off the trottle, and can blow intercooler pipes off if they aren't correctly adjusted.

 

To make the whoosh sound it would be louder with an atmospherically vented BOV but like he said above me it will cause stall issues and funny idle after high revs. I know personally since i have a TIAL 50mm BOV very loud but the dying thing get very old i would deff read the thread above before you start "Ricing" out your evo good luck with your stuff and whoosh sound

 

This is one evo that will definitely turn into rice. OP is so stoked to be rice, it's sickening. DO SOME RESEARCH. And if you have to ask people not to flame on you, then you're gonna get flamed.

Bro its fine i know what rice means ( race inspired cosmetic enchancemnt ) but i actually want it to be rice since this is my first race car. After unhopefuly a crash or just when the time is right im going to sell it for something better perhaps a nissan gtr and only then will I mod the **** out of it. I mean come on now that i have this car my only dream is to put a nice exhuast neon lights and whatever parts i need to make it woosh and a spoiler so go ahead and flame me its not going to stop me from trying to have a little fun

 

Hey Zeazer do you live under a bridge and look something like this:

The evo already has a huge spoiler, neons are lame and the car already wooshes. I love bovs though just make sure you get it properly installed. It will cause your car to stall but you just pop the clutch back down to second and then you're good to go.
