Hi, Hello, New to Evo

Hello,

I'm new to Evo's and this forum, well I bought an 06 STI brand new and that's when I started modding it, after about 35k invested into it, I decided to sell it and look into other cars.

Pics of STI: https://picasaweb.google.com/1008093...CIia6IOCj6fbDQ

I took a big loss on the STI, that was expected, it was fully built and made 523whp and about 450wtq and spun the engine up to 8500rpm.

Was in the market for a new car after selling the STI, looked at 996tt, BMW 335i, was going to build me a GC8 RS and do the STI swap, but I decided to look at Evo's, and found one with a spun rod bearing ha!

There were few things done to the car when I came to see it, came with Stage 3 Shepherd T-Case w/ ACD, Boost Gauge, Manual Boost Controller, AEM Uego and some other minor things.

Here it is being picked up:

Car had only 39000 miles, clean title, no visible damages to the car, actually body is in immaculate condition, no dings, scratches or anything like that. It did have BC2 Coilovers and as you can see Seibon CF Hood.

I got the car for 12.5k and just dropped in fully built Long block w/ 2.3L stroker, waiting for few more parts to finish her up and can't wait to take out to the track.

Anyway, that's my story and I can't wait to start making close to what my previous car made Ohh and I love the Seats! So... supportive.

I did the ACL Race Bearings, ARP Studs, Balancer Shaft Delete, Manely Stroker, Manely Turbo Tuff Rods, Manely Pistons and upgraded Wrist Pins, Valves, Springs, Retainers, obviously new Oil Pump, Tensioner and Timing Belt.

I had to scrap the old oil cooler and got an Oil Cooler kit from STM w/ B&M core, ahh here are the pictures of my hand-craft of building a bracket for it:

Turbo, I'm going to stay stock for now, I had a GT35R .82AR on my STI, spool wasn't that great as I hit full boost around 4850rpm, now I want to enjoy a little bit of quick spool and then take it to the next level.

Thanks

Yes, but it was so low to the ground, we had to remove it in order to get it on the trailer.

I'm coming from a heavily modded STI, I even promised my wife I wont go mad with the next car, but I think the promise just got shuttered (she still doesn't know that). But by the looks of it thus far, it is a lot cheaper to mod than the STI.
